The soft earthy colors really make this character look down to Earth. But the use of blues and pinks and yellows also make him look like quite the energetic type. Either way, I think this was a project in just making refs, so I'll shut my trap and focus on technical stuff like I should.
The lighting and shading with the lower half of his body is really great. I'm liking those legs. But it gets a little flat as it continues and he ends up looking more 2d than his lower half. I'd work on that a bit. His eyes are lovely, and stand out a lot in his face, which personally I think is always a nice thing, to have unique looking eyes. I like he eyes a lot. Eyes always make the face.
Lovely job noneoftheless. And oh how I envy that boy for having that vest!
